This is a really nice sound decoder for the price. The installation was not too hard. I did have to modify the cab shade inside the shell so it would not interfere with the headlight. Otherwise the shell would not fit completely down onto the frame. I would recommend these decoders.

I bought the XL 0001645 N Scale Diesel Sound Decoder drop-in for Kato GE-P42. I am very pleased and planning on ordering another. I put a Digitraxx decoder in another Kato P42T and I have not been very happy with it. I am ordering one of yours to replace it. The sound on your decoders is amazing one of the best I have. I have several Broadway Limited and Atlas but I like your decoder better than any of those.
