Good morning,I have just a couple of these decoders as I normally use soundtraxx decoders.I have one in a overland brass sd60 loco and it runs good. Sounds are not good as soundtraxx but for a lower priced decoder they are fine. Their speakers seem to be really good, I have used many of the 16×35 in locos. Now the big bummer on these decoders. They do not support cv 6 for speeding locomotives up or down, makes no sense to me as they support cv 2 & 5. Their documentation that comes with the decoders needs a serious update. It needs to have a list of cv values for cv 29, nothing at all. Now the biggest bummer of all their customer service totally sucks, I have emailed them 3 or 4 times and not once have they responded.I would like to buy a few more of the decoders but if they don’t stand behind them what good are they, my question is simple but i don’t want to damage the decoder. It should not matter what the question is they should respond. I probably will still buy them but I would like a reply to my email.

Hello,I have just a few of these decoders but will probably buy a few more of them plus the speakers.I switched out the speaker that comes with the decoder to a mrc 16x35mm rectangular one. Alot better sound and louder as well. I strictly use soundtraxx tsunami2 decoders but gave these a try, and found that I like them. The documentation that comes with them could use a bit of an update, but it is helpful.Customer service could be abit better as well. I will buy more of them in the future. The sound files for the alcos could use an update but they are ok.I model the modern day so I need the soundtraxx decoders for all my modern locomotives which is a fleet of 130 locos. For a budget decoder these are really good. Thank you

Hello, I have the emd710 prime mover sound file, and it is a good decoder. Have not had any problems with it at all. It would be nice to have the decoder support cv6 mid range speed adjustment, but not a deal breaker. I changed the speaker to a 16x35mm rectangle one and it sounds better yet. I will pick up a couple more of these and some speakers for a few engines I don”t run alot. Overall a really good decoder.

Good afternoon, my name is William M Thrall, and I am just suggesting that you incorporate cv5 as max voltage and cv6 as mid range voltage for speeding up or slowing down the locos as you need. It would make speed matching easier as well. I am sure this is easier said than done but as I said this is just a suggestion. I think you would sell a pile of these things if you made this adjustment. I have a few of these and I really like them, I have about 150 locos and all but 5-6 are Soundtraxx. Also if you made the range of adjustment of cv5 and 6 from 0-255 that would be great. Thank you
